Hi, I’m Emily Molloy. Welcome to my design portfolio!

I am currently a Graphic Designer for an e-commerce shopping site called HauteLook.com, where I design and program emails that are sent to 3.5 million members daily. I enjoy the job because it has allowed me to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, solve problems and schedule work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. And I’m exceptionally good at that sort of thing.

Since May 2005, when I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), I have worked consistently as a graphic designer. I use my background as a traditional hand skilled artist, and have adapted them to meet current graphic design practices and technology.

I’m proud of my ability to work as a team player, and to motivate others to finish projects under tight deadlines. As the Global Productions Graphic Designer at Estée Lauder, I managed to convince the entire worldwide design operation that using Adobe InDesign over QuarkXPress would improve both work flow and agility. As a result, we were able to better integrate with cutting-edge technology. In essence, we were able to get more of our product into the marketplace faster.

I am hardworking, I am organized, and I am self-motivated. I make a mean pie, I am getting married in June, and I have a dog named Charlie. I also have a burgeoning line of dolls that look like my friends.
