About me
In May 2005, I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design
(SCAD). During my education at SCAD I learned the traditional hand skills that helped me progress to the current
graphic design practices and technology that are used today. I designed many projects that had dealt with
corporate identity, magazine layouts, brochures, annual reports, direct mail pieces, and posters.

I recently moved to Los Angeles from Brooklyn, New York. From September 2005 to May 2008, I worked for Estée Lauder as a Global Productions Graphic Designer in the Visual Merchandising Department. My main job task was to design and produce a quarterly 80 page booklet that was mailed to every Estée Lauder counter in the United States. I helped design how the counters would look on and inside the cases. I worked with vendors to create Gift with Purchase/ Purchase with Purchase structures that would be displayed on-counter.

Within the last few months, I have been freelancing off-site for Nock Investments which is a development company located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. They are in the process of developing SouthPass, a new neighborhood community. I was in charge of creating the logo, business systems, and all marketing materials (brochures, postcards, etc.). I have been working independently with simple direction, managing my time and work effectively.

I am Mac proficient and an expert in the Creative Suite 3 Software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, & Dreamweaver), QuarkXPress, and Microsoft Office. I also have working knowledge of Flash CS3. I have a solid understanding of design, layout and type usage. I am a team player, hardworking, organized, self-motivated, and I always meet my deadlines.
